READ IN APP Disability Rights Montana is hiring three new team members : one Office Manager & two Civil Rights Attorneys If you’ve ever thought about working in a place where your day‑to‑day efforts directly shape the future of disability rights in Montana… this is your moment. This is not a generic nonprofit hiring push. This is an invitation to join one of the most unique, impactful civil rights organizations in the country/ One that Congress empowered with investigative authority, legal muscle, and a statewide mandate to protect the rights of disabled Montanans. And we’re looking for people who want to take action, not just admire problems from a distance. Across Montana in schools, hospitals, rural communities, reservation communities, prisons, nursing homes, and everywhere in between disabled people are fighting FEB 18 ⭐ Why This Moment Matters for basic dignity, equality, and belonging. This role is the heartbeat of our Helena office, coordinating logistics, supporting leadership, keeping our systems running smoothly, and helping ensure Montanans with disabilities get timely support. It’s perfect for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, steady under pressure, and excited about being part of a mission-driven team. Position #1: Office Manager (1 opening) Positions #2 & #3: Civil Rights Attorneys (2openings) You’ll interview clients, investigate abuse and neglect, work on early case development, and engage in litigation and systems-change advocacy. These roles sit at the intersection of law, justice, and community. You’ll handle cases involving: discrimination access to housing, transportation & government services education rights guardianship reduction employment rights and more. These are not theoretical problems. These are the issues shaping whether disabled Montanans get to live free, self-determined lives. If you want to become the lawyer who actually moves the needle, who turns rights on paper into rights in real life, we want you here.
