Dear Study Commission,
I am writing you to let you know that I support special elections to fill vacancies. Those of
us who live here and voted for this study commission did so, so that we could get more
accountability, not less from our city government. I have not talked to anyone who
doesn’t want the right to vote for those holding positions in our city government. It has
been so disappointing to see people continually appointed, instead of voted on. We
deserve the right to vote for people representing those of us who are paying attention to
what is going on. Don’t deny us this right.
