I hope I'm not too late - I strongly believe mayoral and Commissioners should be paid, full
time employees.
Part time stipinds do not allow electrd officiala the time needed to fully understand thecomplexity of their role and powers nor devote time to being present to speak with amd
understand community members.
I have lived in jurisdictions that expect citizen volunteers with stipends and the public servicerole is always necessarily deprioritized. We get what we pay for. Please make these/keep these
full time roles.
