Description
I am very concerned about ICE activity in communities throughout our country. I am a physician, and I have heard stories of people in
Bozeman not accessing healthcare when they feel it is necessary due to a fear of ICE. This is greatly concerning to me. I would love to see
Bozeman pass a resolution to not participate in 287G. I also ask that such a resolution would include provisions that allow Bozeman
police officers to ask ICE to remove masks and provide identification, require tracking and public reporting of ICE activity, and clearly
state that Bozeman police officers will not engage in racial profiling, and will keep records available to the public about officers'
perceptions of the race of individuals involved in police stops. I am very grateful for the work of our local police department, and want to
continue to see them do great work to keep our community safe for all.

would mean I will send it to the City Clerk where it will be distributed to the Mayor, City Commission, City Manager, and all members of City Staff
including Fire and Police. With your permission I will do that today.
