DEMOLITION NOTES
1.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTION OF ALL PROPERTY
CORNERS AND PINS.
2.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRS OF DAMAGE TO ANY
EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS DURING CONSTRUCTION, SUCH AS, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO DRAINAGE, UTILITIES, PAVEMENT, STRIPING, CURB, ETC. REPAIRS
SHALL BE EQUAL OR BETTER THAN EXISTING CONDITIONS.
3.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LATEST
STANDARDS OF OSHA DIRECTIVES OR ANY OTHER AHJ FOR EXCAVATING AND
TRENCHING PROCEDURE. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE SUPPORT SYSTEMS,
SLOPING, BENCHING, AND OTHER MEANS OF PROTECTION. THIS IS TO INCLUDE,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ACCESS AND EGRESS FROM ALL EXCAVATION AND
TRENCHING. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO COMPLY WITH PERFORMANCE
CRITERIA FOR OSHA.
4.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING THE PUBLIC
DURING DEMOLITION, WHICH INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO
CONSTRUCTION FENCING, BARRICADES, SIGNAGE, ETC.
5.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO INSPECT THE SITE PRIOR TO BIDDING
AND INCLUDE IN THE BID ANY AND ALL ITEMS TO BE REMOVED, DEMOLISHED,
OR MAINTAINED AS NECESSARY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT
WHETHER THEY ARE SHOWN ON THIS PLAN OR NOT.
6.PROVIDE POSITIVE DRAINAGE AT ALL TIMES WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION AREA.
DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO POND IN EXCAVATION AREAS, AND MAINTAIN ALL
EXISTING DRAINAGE PATTERNS.
