Dear Bozeman, We’re very disheartened this development hasn’t been already stopped due to the lack of infrastructure, impacts of traffic through a residential area, its high density and ridiculous 4&5 story buildings. This development is so out of character with the surrounding area; not to mention Bozeman’s continued lack of regard to high density sprawl in a historically rural/agricultural area. Surely, the need for affordable housing is better suited to the central Bozeman area which has walkable distances, public transportation and existing ‘common sense’ infrastructure. Many several story developments are in existence, but why in the world would 4-5 stories even be considered? Are you intentionally destroying the quality of life for existing residents? We’ve been here over 25 years and the total lack of regard to preserve the city is hard to comprehend…why the sprawl and lack of long term vision to preserve the positive aspects of the city, county, and state? We STRONGLY oppose this development due to location, increased traffic/less safe, and ridiculous design. Respectfully, Melody and Chuck Schwartz
