Good Afternoon Study Commission,
My name is Chase Anders, and I am a tax-paying resident and homeowner at 1543 Ryun Sun
Way in Bozeman, MT. I am writing to share my views on key issues facing our city.
The Deputy Mayor: I believe we should eliminate this position and let the
mayor begin from day 1
Size & Salary: I also believe we need an elected 7 member city commission
with Modest Stipends, not career politicians that have high salaries.
Filling Vacancies: I believe a special election should take place when a
commissioner seat becomes vacant.
Partisanship: Absolutely keep this Non Partisan
Additional Elected Offices: I believe these should remain hired roles based
on skills and merits.
