Dear Bozeman City Commission, In advance of your upcoming 2026 Priorities Discussion, I am sending you a short list of items thatare of top importance to me. I am currently NENA's INC Rep but represent only myself in this letter. Thank you for your consideration. PROPOSED 2026 PRIORITIES: 1. Strengthen UDC protections for trees and other native vegetation. Become a leader and partner inpublic-private land, water, and air stewardship.2. Hire ecology staff—independent of the Community Development Department—to perform on- the-ground natural resource inventories of development and re-developments sites, with the purposeof protecting natural resources PRIOR TO planning review.3. Dedicate resources to ensuring that the AHO and NCOD work together in a way that respects allcurrent and future neighborhoods and residents. 4. Adopt a municipal housing authority to create long-term, mixed-income, high quality, trulyaffordable housing. 5. As part of City Hall updates, replace the video camera that shows the complete dias in the CityCommission Room. Currently quality is quite poor. Sincerely, Angie Kociolek Bozeman Resident
