Dear Bozeman City Commission,
In advance of your upcoming 2026 Priorities Discussion, I am sending you a short list of items thatare of top importance to me.
I am currently NENA's INC Rep but represent only myself in this letter.
Thank you for your consideration.
PROPOSED 2026 PRIORITIES:
1. Strengthen UDC protections for trees and other native vegetation. Become a leader and partner inpublic-private land, water, and air stewardship.2. Hire ecology staff—independent of the Community Development Department—to perform on-
the-ground natural resource inventories of development and re-developments sites, with the purposeof protecting natural resources PRIOR TO planning review.3. Dedicate resources to ensuring that the AHO and NCOD work together in a way that respects allcurrent and future neighborhoods and residents.
4. Adopt a municipal housing authority to create long-term, mixed-income, high quality, trulyaffordable housing. 5. As part of City Hall updates, replace the video camera that shows the complete dias in the CityCommission Room. Currently quality is quite poor.
