The December 16th decision by the commission to increase
building height limit from 70 ft to 90 ft in the B-3 zone is an
unwise decision.
Even the 70ft height limit is too tall. With this new decision
Bozemanites will lose the flavor, charm and "look" of Bozeman as
it was historically.
I, for one, am not saying "don't build". Building is essential for
our continued growth but all growth should be in keeping with the
look of Bozeman. We don't need the tall structures that have
already been built recently and what is about to be built. They
swam everything else on Main Street and are destroying
Bozeman's iconic beauty.
Please don't let the height limit go up to 90 feet. We are losing
what was once a beautiful, unique, home.
Thank you,
Deborah Dunham
