Hello Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Commissioners,
I'm writing today to ask you to include the following in your priorities for the next two years.
Please add a chapter to our Growth Policy/Community Plan that will identify fundamental
resources and values that we can uphold and preserve as we grow. This chapter could becalled Heritage Conservation. The Landmark consultants had these two suggestions:
1). Integrate preservation with broader planning issues – housing, resilience, land
conservation, cultural heritage, and economic development.
2). Consider integrating historic preservation into broader planning efforts such as theBozeman CommunityPlan (Growth Policy), as is done with other community planning efforts.
Also, please consider...Mayor Morrison - I'm really disappointed in you after giving you myvote. I walked with you at Black and Curtiss neighborhood. I'm the renter in the group. I
thought that with you being you and native Montanan you'd be a breath of fresh air. I'm verydisappointed that you changed your mind on building height. Really? What the heck are you
guys doing?You've lost my confidence and support.
