COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2689
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AUTHORIZING
SUBMITTAL OF AN
APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF
COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT MONIES
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman
is applying to the
Montana
Department of Commerce for a Community Development Block Grant to
assist in furthering the expansion of ILX Lightwave Corporation,
which will benefit the local economy; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman has conducted at
least two
public hearings as part of the application process to solicit and
consider citizen comments on community development needs and pro-
posed activities to respond to them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of the
City of Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That the City of Bozeman agrees to conform with the
regula-
tions, statutes, terms and
conditions described in the CDBG
Statement of Assurances.
Section 2
That Alfred M. Stiff, Mayor,
is authorized to submit this
.
application to the Montana Department of Commerce,
on behalf of
the City of Bozeman, to act on behalf of
the City of Bozeman and .
to provide such additional information as may be required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the
City of
Bozeman, Montana, at a regular session
thereof held on the 16th
day of February, 1988.
