RESOLUTION NO. 2694
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AUTHORIZING FILING OF APPLICATION
WITH THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY, UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA, FOR A GRANT UNDER THE WATER POLLUTION
CONTROL ACT (33 U.S.C. 466 ET SEQ.)
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Water Pollution Control Act
(33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.), the United States of America has
authorized the making of grants to authorized applications to aid
in the construction of specific public projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, State of Montana:
1. That Alfred M. Stiff, Mayor, is hereby authorized to
execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Bozeman
with the United States Government for a grant to aid in the
mOdification/replacement of the rapid infiltration basins at the
Bozeman Wastewater Treatment Plant and he is hereby authorized
and directed to furnish such information as the Environmental
Protection Agency may reasonably request in connection with such
application and to sign all necessary documents and receive
payment.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the
City of Bozeman, Montana, this 2nd
day of May
