NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bozeman Exchange Associates, LLC is accepting sealed bids for:
Main Street Hotel Pedestrian Lighting
Bozeman Exchange Associates, LLC will receive online electronic sealed Bids for Construction of the
Main Street Hotel Pedestrian Lighting Project until 3:00 p.m. (local time) on January
12th, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
Project Description: Construction of pedestrian lighting adjacent to the Main Street Hotel
development. The work will be completed within 30 calendar days following Notice to Proceed.
For this project, bids will only be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through
QuestCDN. A contractor may view the contract documents at no cost prior to becoming a
Planholder. Project bid documents and addenda must be downloaded from QuestCDN, which will
add your company to the Planholder List and allow access to vBid online bidding, for the submittal of
your bid. The specific project can be found by referencing the eBidDoc number (eBidDoc
#9995616). Complete digital project bidding documents are available to download at
www.questcdn.com, for a non-refundable charge of $22.00. Bidders will be charged an additional fee
of $42.00 to submit a bid electronically. Contact QuestCDN Customer Support at 952-233-1632 or
info@questcdn.com for assistance in membership registration, downloading digital project
information and vBid online bid submittal.

CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors doing work on this project will
be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms
for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805
Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by
calling 1-406-444-7734. CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to
bidding on this project but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement.
All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the
construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Gallatin County and
the state of Montana. Discrimination in the performance of any contract awarded under this
invitation on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status, national origin, or actual
or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or disability is prohibited. This prohibition shall
apply to the hiring and treatment of the awarded entity’s employees and to all subcontracts. Every
entity submitting under this invitation must sign and return the required affirmation.
As such, each entity submitting under this notice shall include a provision wherein the submitting
entity, or entities, affirms in writing it will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed,
sex, age, marital status, national origin, or because of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender

identity or disability and which also recognizes the eventual contract will contain a provision
prohibiting discrimination as described above and that this prohibition on discrimination shall apply to
the hiring and treatment of the submitting entity’s employees and to all subcontracts.
In addition, pursuant to City Commission Resolution 5169, the entity awarded a contract under this
RFQ and any subcontractors must abide by the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and Section 39-3-104, MCA
(the Montana Equal Pay Act), and affirm it will abide by the above and that it has visited the State of
Montana Equal Pay for Equal Work “best practices” website, or equivalent “best practices publication
and has read the material.
Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond
payable to Bozeman Exchange Associates, LLC, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the
total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS, shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a
Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the
contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a
certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided.
No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids.
Bozeman Exchange Associates, LLC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to
waive informalities to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30)
days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of
Bozeman Exchange Associates, LLC.
