Permanent traffic calming along a length of street the size of New Holland can quickly add up andmay be the reason the city has previously been unable to commit. However, we intend to installtraffic calming on New Holland as part of our Fowler Avenue Connection project to mitigatepotential issues that may arise during construction. This will be part of the last round of public
engagement we undertake with the community prior to the start of the project next year. We hopeto get consensus from the neighborhood on type and permanence of traffic calming beforecompleting this last bit of design and bid the project.
Look for a meeting invite in January, hope you’re able to make it.

Further to my last correspondence referencing the traffic speeds on New Holland Dr
I encourage the board to have a hidden radar set up with a recording device
You will be astonished at the speeds the cars drive on this street.
Or you can just sit on m y front porch and you'll see the speeds
I did note that there are some fantastic speed controls in other areas of the city yet we are
being ignored.
