To the city commission:
As you ponder the Zone Map Amendment for the Idaho Pole Site, it's my hope that
you will consider the parcel's ecological value as part of our urban forest. The mature
cottonwood and aspen grove there along the East Gallatin provides habitat for
numerous wild animals, including red-tailed hawks. My hope is that you will maximize
watercourse and wetland setbacks and endeavor to maintain the area's current
treescape. In short, I support the position of the Bozeman Tree Coalition.
