Honorable Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Commissioners,
I hope you’ve rested and recovered after the long 12/02/2025 meeting. The UDC decisions
you made that day came after a great deal of time, comment, deliberation, and discussion, andwe all hung in there with you (in the room and remotely). There were already many
compromises and commitments made that day and these were included in those decisions.Please consider these commitments and compromises on 12/16/25 when you are confronted by
investors, developers, and other people who stand to profit (more than they already profit)from 90 feet in B-3! Do not cave and give up on the commitments and compromises already
made. Keep the height at 70, and only grant the extra height if they use the AHO.
We need affordable housing and we need money for affordable housing. Don't cave in at thelast minute... literally the last minute!
Look at all the new high-density in the B-3. Is any of it affordable? No. And it never trickles
down, does it? The AHO is the only way we'll get affordability in the B-3.
