City Commission,
At a recent meeting, a developer referred to people in the audience as "old, white, retired, and
privileged". He got that 75% right, I'm old, white and retired. But privileged? Perhaps insome contexts but the statement is laughable from a developer who is asking to be privileged.
The UDC as amended allows for a process to build to 90 feet, why do developers need moreother than to assert their financial 'privilege' for profit at the communities expense?
Please keep the B-3 height at 70, and only grant the extra height if they use the AHO. We need
affordable housing and we need money for affordable housing. Don't ignore the public input and cave in at the last minute... literally the last minute!
