COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2700
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, EXTENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID
CITY OF BOZEMAN SO AS TO INCLUDE A TRACT OF LAND
CONTIGUOUS TO SAID CITY AND REFERRED TO AS THE
PACIFIC HIDE AND FUR ANNEXATION, HEREIN MORE PAR-
TICULARLY DESCRIBED, WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman received a request for the annexation of
Tracts 23 and 24 of the Gordon Mandevi lie State School Section Subdivision from
Robert Koelzer dba Pacific Hide and Fur for Dale L. and Adolphena O. Thornton;
and
WHEREAS, a staff report on said Tracts 23 and 24 of the Gordon Mande-
ville State School Section Subdivision recommended annexation upon execution of
an Annexation Agreement between the City of Bozeman and the owner of said
Tracts 23 and 24; and
WHEREAS, Commission Resolution No. 2695 was adopted by the City Com-
mission on May 9, 1988, declaring it to be the intent of the City of Bozeman to
extend the boundaries of said City so as to include said contiguous tract within
the corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on Commission Resolution No. 2695 was duly
noticed and held on June 6, 1988; and
WHEREAS, on June 6, 1988, the Commission voted to approve the intent
to annex the tract as established in Commission Resolution No. 2695; and
WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been raised; and
WHEREAS, provision for services to said contiguous tract is the subject
of a written agreement between the City of Bozeman and Pacific Hide and Fur,
record owner of the tract, dated June 24, 1988; and
WHEREAS, said contiguous tract is described on the plat of the Gordon
Mandeville State School Section Subdivision, which is duly recorded in the office
of the Clerk and Recorder of Gallatin County, Montana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That it is hereby declared that pursuant to Title 7, Chapter 2, Part 43,
M.C,A., the following described property which is contiguous to the municipal
boundaries of the City of Bozeman be annexed to the City of Bozeman and that

the boundaries of said City shall be extended so as to embrace and include
such properties, to wit:
Tracts 23 and 24 of the Gordon Mandeville State School Section
Subdivision, being a tract of land situated in Section 36,
Township 1 South, Range 5 East, P.M.M., Gallatin County,
Montana.
Section 2
The effective date of this annexation is June 27, 1988.
Section 3
The annexation of the Pacific Hide and Fur Annexation is subject to the
terms of the Agreement dated June 24, 1988 by and between the City of
Bozeman and Pacific Hide and Fur, record owner of the tract, regarding the
provision of services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, at a regular and stated session of said City Commission, held on the
27th day of June 1988.
