The ADU is designed to complement the main house’s Craftsman aesthetic, featuring paintedcedar shake siding and trim, coordinated roof slopes, exposed rafters, outlooker accents, anddouble-hung windows with divided lites. The structure includes a primary gable roof, a definedtower with hip roof and clerestory windows to provide interior stair access and natural light tothe ADU living space, and a shed roof dormer in the bedroom for added daylight and usablespace. A small deck on the west elevation along the alley provides outdoor access from the livingspace while offering added protection to the garage entry below.
