This comment is regarding the special meeting on Tuesday Dec 9 4pm, item G5. I hope the Board will consider the
lovely stream and mature trees running South of Davis Lane. Davis Lane, with its divided lanes and the mature trees
in the middle, is a gem in our community. Continuing that style of road south to join Fowler is in the community's
best interest because it preserves some of the natural environment. I appreciate the need for density to reduce
urban sprawl, but I would prefer density mixed with some greenery, instead of wall-to-wall buildings. Despite its
density, New York City still has about 15% of its land mass dedicated to green space, whereas Bozeman has only 6%.
Keeping some trees on this boulevard is one small way we can do better in the green space realm. We are a
community of outdoorsy folk so I would venture to guess most Bozemanites would agree. Thank you, Heather
