It is my understanding that there are issues related to the souce of funds preventingor restricting the city from developing the property in this proposal. Thereforecontrary to the letter from Mr. Fine et. al. it appears there are, in fact, unresolvedissues. The Commission should postpone approval of the requested funds of $18,250until this issue is resolved.
If the city is able to resolve the use of funds issue the requested site preparationwork can be done at that time. If the city abandons the Fowler Project for anyreason, spending the money now would be a waste of tax payer funds.
