I am in favor of a tenant right to counsel to protect tenants from being taken advantage of or treated unfairly. I've
heard 60% or more of Bozeman residents rent their living accommodations. These are people often the most
vulnerable because they lack resources. A right to counsel can help right wrongs, avoid potential injustices, and help
restore balance in a system that currently has an imbalance of power.
