Dear City Commissioners,
In regards to the Community Development Board and their proposal, I continue to be flummoxed why the city
attorney has not deemed a conflict of interest with two developers and an architect on the board. For example, Jason
Delmue, a developer, states he would really ‘like to sprinkle condos around our neighborhood ‘. Why does this
advisory board in particular hold so much weight and have so much power?
It feels almost like this is a trial where they are the prosecutors and we are the defendants and Mr. Delmue wants to
win this case.
In a five block radius around the Centennial Park Neighbourhood, we have certainly had our share of six Homebase
high rises, when all completed, and the north third Westlake Apartments. This neighborhood is relatively small and
in lieu of the surrounding development most certainly is an over ready for a R-A zone!
Please continue to uphold your wonderful decision to make Centennial and Bonton neighborhoods a RA. Good luck
tonight at your meeting.
