Dear Bozeman Commissioners and Mayor Cunningham, My name is Ashley Wilson and I’m currently a member of HPAB; my comments tonight are of my own and do not represent the opinion of the board. First, I would like to express my concern with the Zone Edge Transition loophole. I agree with Linda Simone's letter that ceding front facing property to the city will degrade the neighborhood character. This clause should be eliminated and I explore you to remove this from the UDC. Second, if the B-3 zones moved south to E.Curtiss as proposed, the historic homes in this area would be prime areas for large development and would most likely be demolished. This continues to eat away the character that people love about Bozeman. No one loves the character of Bozeman for the massive, luxury apartment buildings. We love this place for the charm that currently exists in the old neighborhoods and we don’t have enough as it is. Please vote to leave the boundary as it exists, as Alison Sweeney is advocating. Thank you, Ashley Wilson
