Dear Commissioners,
I would like to take you on a drive through Bozeman while we consider the upcoming vote on the UDC. I would
drive you myself except that I had a freak accident and I am in the Gallatin County Rest Home. My tax dollars at
good work !
Please start at City Hall and get to Main Street at Willson Avenue. Turn right and drive along Main looking at 300
West Main which is now high end condos, but was the landmark Hotel Bozeman opened in 1891. It is next to the
Willson Auditorium, a well used landmark. On the right side of the street can you find I-Ho’s restaurant somewhere
among luxury development
Freestone on Main and 507 WMain, which is to be a 4 story hotel ?
Please continue to 19th Ave. and continue to Baxter Boulevard. Be careful turning right . Check out the new
apartment buildings on the left. Continue to La Tinga Restaurant, and then continue to 3753 Equestrian Lane and
see if you can find the building that looks like a Hollywood set jail? Find 106 S Cottonwood Road and the
Cottonwood Corner Apartments. Go back to Main Street but be careful if you choose one of the roundabouts. At
the Catholic Church turn right and go around The Emerson Arts Center, continue up 3rd Ave. to the Story Mansion
and cross Willson into the small neighborhood of your choice.
