My name is Catherine Lockhart. I am a Bozeman home owner and a member of Bozeman
Tenants United.
I grew up here in Bozeman and have lived here for most of my adult life. In that time I havewatched as many of my friends and family have been forced out of their homes and out of this
valley by the rising cost of housing.
We're a growing city. I believe that our most important objective as we grow should bemaintaining a sense of community. In order to grow as a community we need robust
protections for the members of our community who are most vulnerable to housing insecurityand eviction, That starts with a strong tenants' right to council ordinance.
Please pass this right to council ordinance and protect Bozeman's families and Bozeman's
community.
