Purpose To help protect the scale and character of development in established neighborhoods. 2. Applicability The wall plate height limitation applies to all buildings on the lot. 3. Standards The wall plate height cannot exceed the maximum height in feet specified by zoning district. 4. Measurement a. Wall plate height is measured at the point where the exterior wall intersects the roof structure, typically at the building corners. The side of a shed roof with the highest plate corners may not exceed the zoning district's maximum wall-plate height by more than 6 feet when located within 15 feet of a property line. d. Relief of up to 10% may be granted due to topographical issues, utility access, existing or required easements, or preexisting natural features. b.
