I've recently become aware of the rezoning that is scheduled for my beloved neighborhoodon S. Black and Curtiss. I have been renting at 308 S. Black for 5 years. The owners of thesweet red brick house are Maryellen and David Scherrer. Both now in their late 70s grew uphere in Bozeman. Maryellens father bought this house back in the 60s. Her mother lived heruntil her death and I have been fortunate to call this my home. They are always working onthe house and before I moved in replaced the foundation. In the 5 years renting here the traffic on S. Black has noticeably been busier and with BlackOlive, crossing Olive is a bit of a game of chicken as traffic has of course been on rise. My gardening client lives across the street. I love my neighbors and neighborhood andoppose rezoning. This is a beautiful historic neighborhood. The church has the sweetest
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep zoning as is. This little corner of heaven doesn't needanother giant square prison looking building.
