Dear City Commision,
Please do not upzone 11th Ave. I live on 14th Ave and I cross 11th multiple times a day
walking my kid to Irving School, it is a busy street with loads of University traffic. Residentsoften park half way up on the boulevards, especially in the winter, to keep their mirrors from
getting clipped and visibility is already limited.
There is a real mix of housing types that fit within the surrounding residential neighborhoods.The only thing we need on 11th Ave is better crosswalks, especially on Dickerson and
Alderson which are towards Irving Grade school. Is it possible to get more of those mid-streetsigns that remind motorists that it is the law to stop for pedestrians? There was one at
Alderson for a short while this summer.
