Our homeowners association has notified us that a revised commercial development proposal in our subdivision still violates out PUD and Master Plan. The new proposal includes two buildings when our Master Plan allows only one. The square footage of the two buildings is twice the allowed square footage in our master plan. This lot is small for commercial development which is why our Master Plan limits the size of the buildings. The other obvious concern is not enough parking spaces. Our subdivision streets are narrow and when a car is parked on one side of the street, it barely leaves room for a car to pass safely by, especially in the winter when the snow berms begin to encroach on the street. I also do not want my lawn to become a parking space for people trying to park off the road. Our subdivision has covenants which do not allow fencing to prevent people from parking on our lawn. This new proposal should be rejected again. The PUD and Master plan for subdivisions should be respected and followed. It is another example of a commercial development encroaching into neighborhoods without adequate parking for their customers and creating traffic congestion and hazards in subdivisions. Sincerely, Brooke Everest
