Dear city commissioners and planners:
Here is an ad on Zillow where a realtor writes that this affordable duplex is “under rented”. Please read this and
realize how realtors and developers contribute to and are responsible for the lack of affordability.
This ad on Zillow proves what so many residents have been saying. There is affordable housing in Bozeman, and
developers and realtors actually promote re-development of currently affordable housing. Upzoning and density Do.
Not. Create Affordability. Upzoning and redevelopment are wrecking affordability. It’s right there in black and
white print.
This is something that you could address. I know you won’t.
It’s so frustrating to be called a “privileged old grey haired home owning resident who doesn’t want change” and
then realize, omg you all think that, too. But just because you say it and try to normalize it doesn’t make it true. It’s
still not true.
