I live on 15th and Alderson. By upzoning to 8 plexes, do you want to make my house
unaffordable with property tax increases? And do you want to make homes for new buyersunaffordable because each lot will vastly increase in price, since it can become an apartment
building?
Like what you did by the Co-op? No parking, empty luxury box.
My house is a townhouse, and I GET ZERO benefit from your meddling. In fact I have to payfor it with more taxes, and construction burdens, and traffic. I can't "upzone" my townhouse.
So effectively you would be cheating me, and the 20 other units on my block.
There should be a new law, that whatever codes you pass - it happens to all the city employeesand commissioners FIRST, for five years, before implementation. See how you like it :)
