What They’re Not Telling You A Raw Look at How Federal Instability Is Undermining Disability Rights READ IN APP NOV 5 We are in unprecedented waters with this current shutdown of the federal government. In our 249 years as a nation, this is the longest we have ever turned off federal spending. But this is just the current page in the current chapter of fiscal uncertainty, and at times, fiscal chaos. If you know me, either though this platform, the podcast, or in real life, you know I am a straight shooter. I will always tell you the uncomfortable truth because it is the only way we fix whatever problem is before us. Monday at noon, I will host a live podcast episode to tell you what I know about federal funding at that point, but just as importantly I will try to put that into perspective. I will be brutally honest with my opinion about what all of this means for the future of Disability Rights Montana specifically and disability rights in Montana and across the nation generally.
