If you are interested in commenting in writing on items on the agenda please send an email to
comments@bozeman.net or by visiting the Public Comment Page prior to 12:00pm on the day of the
meeting. At the direction of the City Commission, anonymous public comments are not distributed to
the Board or staff.
Public comments will also be accepted in-person and through Video Conference during the appropriate
agenda items.
As always, the meeting will be streamed through the Commission's video page and available in the
City on cable channel 190.

Approve the October 8, 2025 Sustainability Advisory Board Minutes.
This is the time to comment on any non-agenda matter falling within the scope of the
Sustainability Board. There will also be time in conjunction with each agenda item for public
comment relating to that item but you may only speak once per topic. Please note, the Board
cannot take action on any item which does not appear on the agenda. All persons addressing the

RECOMMENDATION:Approve the October 8, 2025 Sustainability Advisory Board Minutes.
STRATEGIC PLAN:1.2 Community Engagement: Broaden and deepen engagement of the
community in city government, innovating methods for inviting input from
the community and stakeholders.
BACKGROUND:In accordance with Commission Resolution 5323 and the City of Bozeman's
Citizen Advisory Board Manual, all Boards must have minutes taken and
approved. Prepared minutes will be provided for approval by the board at
the next scheduled meeting. Staff will make any corrections identified in the
minutes before submitting them to the City Clerk's Office.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES:None.
ALTERNATIVES:As suggested by the Board.

SUBJECT:Sustainable Transportation in Bozeman
MEETING DATE:November 12, 2025
AGENDA ITEM TYPE:Citizen Advisory Board/Commission
RECOMMENDATION:Participate in discussion on current and future city initiatives to improve
sustainable transportation in Bozeman.
STRATEGIC PLAN:1.1 Outreach: Continue to strengthen and innovate in how we deliver
information to the community and our partners.
BACKGROUND:The city of Bozeman's Department of Transportation and Engineering works
in partnership with its Sustainability Division on a shared goal of improving
sustainable transportation in Bozeman. Additionally, Streamline bus service
is now operated through the Gallatin Valley Urban Transportation District
(UTD) to provide transit services across the valley.
The Department welcomes influence from the Sustainability Board and will
present a joint discussion with UTD representatives on current and future
policies and practices.

RECOMMENDATION:Update on Public Hearing and Review Process of the Unified Development
Code.
STRATEGIC PLAN:1.2 Community Engagement: Broaden and deepen engagement of the
community in city government, innovating methods for inviting input from
the community and stakeholders.
BACKGROUND:The Unified Development Code (UDC) update began in 2022 with many opportunities
for public involvement, as well as several presentations and discussions with each
Advisory Board. Information on the public hearing and review process can be found
on the Engage Bozeman Development Code Update webpage.
Mayor Cunningham will share an update on the UDC public hearing and review
process with the Sustainability Board.
