Dear Community Development Board Members,
I would like to state my continued support for the thoughtful input from members of the
community, expressed Monday, October 20th, and would like to acknowledge the arena thisBoard provided. Please leave the proposed UDC draft as is, in regards to the proposed RA
designation to the small neighborhoods of Bon Ton and Centennial Park. After 2 years ofresearch, community and City engagements, to last minute change the Draft, by a powerful
small Advisory Development Board, would highlight the negligence and apparent conflict ofinterest. It is my understanding there are 2 developers and 1 architect on the Board, who
would potentially gain to benefit from changing what is already in the Draft. There appears tobe too many questions of this Board's intent, motivation and 11th hour maneuvers.
If the CDB was able to change the UDC draft to their liking, against both City Commissioners
and the Community desires and recommendations, it would indeed demonstrate a huge, dysfunctional, powerful, as well as a glaring embarrassment to our City, State, and even
perhaps trickle to news releases Nationwide. I'd like to be part of a fair, responsible, democratic driven city government.
Please make your recommendations very thoughtfully.
Sincerely,
Mary Ellen M. SpogisResident of Bozeman, Montana
