Dear Community Development Board,
I write to ask you to support the current draft of R-A in the Unified Development Code.
Countless hours of community engagement via the city’s open house discussions, public comments, surveys, and
resident lead petitions; which included hundreds of hours of time, all led the commission to direct city staff to this
current R-A draft.
The old neighborhoods with the historic character, scale, the urban forest, social economic diversity, is what people
appreciate and love about old Bozeman neighbourhoods.
These neighbourhoods should be developed with respect to this character, in an honorable nod to the past.
You have the capacity to continue to honor this. Please do so. Leave the R-A dwelling to 2 units, with an ADU.
Anything more will negatively impact the scale, form and historic character of my neighborhood, Centennial Park,
as well as the Bon-Ton.
