the Future Land Use Map

The following pages show where changes to the Future Land Use Map were
made as part of the Bozeman Community Plan Technical Update. Areas of
change are shown with this shading. Changes have been limited to
corrections.
The outer boundary of the planning area
was established in 2020 by adoption of the
Bozeman Community Plan 2020.
No changes to the outer boundary are
proposed with the Technical Update.
Change from Urban Neighborhood to
Community Commercial mixed use
Adjustment to correctly depict existing use
of property. Ferguson Ave
Change from Urban Neighborhood to Parks & Open
Lands
An expansion to the park occurred during the
development process.

Change from Urban Neighborhood to Parks & Open
Lands for a newly platted park.W Babcock St

Change from Public Institutions to Urban Neighborhood,
Correcting a mapping error made in 2020.

1.Square the intersection up between
the four quadrants.
2.Move the Community Commercial
Mixed Use to match the property line
on the east and the road centerline
on the north to include Hillside Lane
right of way.
3. Remove the sliver of Community
Commercial Mixed Use and make it
Parks & Open Space as that is a city
owned park.

Relocate Community Commercial Mixed
Use and Residential Emphasis Mixed Use
node from the east to west side of
Gooch Hill Road extended to move it out
of the watercourse corridor/wetland
area.
Reclassify the Valley View golf course
from Urban Neighborhood to Parks and
Open Lands which is reflective of its
actual use.
