Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interests, and
qualifications that make you a good fit for this board.
I have lived in Bozeman for almost 9 years now and our city’s parks have been a significant
point of joy for me in that time. Volunteering as a mentor with Big Sky Youth Empowerment
Program for more than 5 years allowed me to see first-hand how impactful access to access
to our city’s parks can be. I graduated from MSU with a degree in biochemistry, where I
developed excellent research skills and through several jobs I have gained experience in
creating engaging educational materials and coordinating community events.
On December 19, 2023, the City Commission adopted the Belonging in
Bozeman Plan via <a
href="https://weblink.bozeman.net/WebLink/DocView.aspx?
id=291616&dbid=0&repo=BOZEMAN" target="_blank"
rel="noopener">Resolution 5556</a>. Please describe your understanding of
the Belonging in Bozeman Plan and any thoughts related to implementing
the plan.
Much of my career has been spent working for programs with core values of diversity,
equity, and inclusion. I have both participated in and facilitated workshops centering on DEI.
