* Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you a good fit for this board.
After graduating law school, I moved to Bozeman in the hopes of establishing a career. What career exactly was to be determined. After working in landscaping, then as a
loan officer, then in housekeeping, and finally as a business owner, I believe that Bozeman’s economic success depends largely on a dependable, year round labor source.
Bozeman’s number one priority needs to be supporting a middle class, so that development is sustainable and the employed are local Bozemanites.
* The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of
DEI.
I strongly defend the rights of all races, religions, and beliefs. I hire my employees based on merit, not the color of their skin. That being said, my best employees happen
to be women of color and members of the LGBTQ community. Not to generalize, but they work harder, have more attention to detail, and are easier to get along with. If
that’s inclusion, I don’t know, I only respect results, and have no patience for discrimination of any kind. Regardless of beliefs, we all work together.
