Kirkpatrick - 6590 Davis Lane, App 23373 i F! h " I City of Bozeman Department of Community Development ATTN:Susana Montana 15 September 2025 My wife and I live just north of the proposed development at 6590 Davis Lane.This is a very large neighborhood of one-and two-story houses with very few three-story apartments. There is nothing higher than three stories. There is Sundance Luxury Apartments at Baxter Meadows 300 yards to the west of us,the Bozeman Lodge just north of Oak Street, and the new development west of Cottonwood Street called MWX. The Baxter Meadows property is about the same size as the S&S Apartment property and only has 101 apartments and no commercial stores.We do not need three times this density in our neighborhood!Therefore,the S&S Apartments should be no higher than two or three stories. Our mailbox is located on the other side of Davis Lane. I have had to wait for a dozen cars to get my mail. I cannot imagine how bad this will be with the S&S Apartments. Other developments in our neighborhood have utilized on-street parking to accommodate their need for parking.This is not possible on Davis Lane and I don't believe that the proposed parking will accommodate all the cars that will be owned by those in 300 apartments.
