Hi Brett,
I’m reaching out to touch base on the mix up that occurred with the TIS review. Now that we have identified the correct
TIS document, we will provide you with an updated review of the proper TIS. Due to the situation, we will work through
this portion of the review via email. If updated comments are necessary per Alicia’s review, we will send them over to you,
so that you can incorporate them into your next resubmittal. We will also be uploading a copy of the email chain into the
project application as a means of preserving a record of the review.

Hi Alicia-
Thank you for your help thus far! Again, I apologize for any confusion that I started in regards to this at our meeting
the other day.
In regards to your question;
The proposed recommendations in the report are estimated based on the existing traffic conditions, with the projected
growth to 2038 based upon required factors that generally forecast future growth in the area. So at this point, it is merely a
shot in the dark depending on what actually happens out in that area, but it could be that they aren't needed until even
after 2038. Our TIS shows that a signal/roundabout will be needed there at some point, likely beyond the 2038 timeline,
but at this point with the projects' projected 15-year traffic volume forecasting the signal would still not meet warrants. The
turn lane recommendations are also a part of that future redesign, based on the signal/roundabout layout, so wouldn't be
necessary until that point in time.
