HomeMy WebLinkAboutProject NarrativeProject Narrative This project is a new construction standalone single-family residence. This structure does not affect or change any existing building.Four elevations are shown on the submitted architectural drawings section 4 Architectural. Pages A3.0, A3.1 exterior elevations. The front elevation faces west, the right elevation faces south the back elevation faces east and the left elevation faces north as per site plan. This is a new construction two-story dwelling that will be occupied by the property owner as his personal residence. It will require the removal of 2 trees close to the foundation, and temporarily removing the rear fence. This project is located in the rear of the property, accessed from the alley. It will have no effect on the streetscape of the neighborhood. The design itself was purposely drawn to mimic the style of new residence across the alley in the adjoining property. The exterior materials also mimic the neighbor’s residence. It has metal corrugated and James Hardi cement siding with metal soffit and fascia.  Parking Plan This Project is a three- bedroom residence so it requires a 2-car parking space. The first space will be the garage apron, and the second will be the garage itself. Since ccess is from a twenty-foot-w ide alley the garage apron must be 24 feet from the property line to the garage opening, minimum. As noted above, the second space is the garage itself. Both spaces will be 24 x 13 feet.
