No Where, how long, and what Board? **SKIPPED** * Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you a good fit for this board. I work at MSU and am a member of the Teamsters union. I believe strongly that unions are key for raising the floor for workers by winning better wages and benefits needed to afford to live in Bozeman. I've followed the recent conversations about the UDC, AHO, and other policies around housing, and advocated for ideas such as a public housing production fund and an affordable housing overlay zone. I would like to see high-quality community housing built to last. * The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI. It is important to acknowledge biases we have. I try to expose myself and listen to different perspectives that challenge my beliefs. DEI to me is about diversity of backgrounds, promoting policies that promote equity, and everyone feeling safe in Bozeman. I appreciate that the city has made a lot of efforts to increase accessibility for participation in city meetings and public spaces.
