August 12, 2025; 10:00 am Dear Bozeman City Commissioners: The Bozeman Tree Coalition (BTC) is writing to comment on the 60% design of the FowlerAvenue Connection (FAC) road project: (1) The BTC supports the Friends of Fowler Connector’s (FFC) goal of workingconstructively with the City of Bozeman to make the FAC road project neighborhoodfriendly and environmentally responsible. (2) The BTC supports FFC’s most recent public comment dated August 1, 2025, which wassubmitted to the City on August 2 and posted in the FAC public comment folder on August4.https://weblink.bozeman.net/WebLink/DocView.aspx?id=302236&dbid=0&repo=BOZEMAN
Specifically, the BTC supports FFC’s comments about Public Engagement (page 1), PublicSafety (pages 1-5), and Environmental Protections (page 6). (3) Finally, the BTC joins the FFC in thanking City Transportation Director Nick Ross for hiscontinued willingness to work with Bozeman residents on the final design of the FAC.
