I knew the previous owner of the 10 acre property where the city is planning on the high density housing project. The previous owners were told that once Fowler went through, there would not be any way to develope the remaining property as there was not enough room for road access and infrastructure. Now the city plans on building 2 and 4 story apartments along the east side of Fowler. These high density apartments will cause traffic congestion, limited parking and decrease adjacent property values. This development was never in the first Fowler extension plans we have been involved with for years. Why does the city seem to think any open lands need to be built on. From what I have heard Bozeman is already over built. Please reconsider this disastrous housing plan. The residents of the area deserve better from their city official and commission.
