Economic Vitality Board Meeting August 6, 2025 Subject: Fowler Avenue Housing Project, Action Items F.1 and F.3
Good Evening Economic Vitality Board Members: As a resident of Harvest Creek since 2003 and a professional
Planner I urge you to consider the many interconnected nuances of building such dense housing in such a small
space where there is citizen-wide recognition of the need to preserve some open space, curb the overbuilding of
our landscapes, and at the same time provide connectivity in our neighborhoods. The Harvest Creek neighborhood
has been a very desirable place to live. The concern among residents here is that the Fowler housing project will
inevitably change the character of our neighborhood, add unsafe traffic conditions, and add light pollution and noise
to a fairly quiet existence. As a resident I urge you to consider the pros and cons and to have some restraint in your
recommendation for dense housing in this area. Candace Mastel, 3139 Rose Street
