To Whom if May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of my family who has lived in Harvest Creek for the last 18 years. We
choose this neighborhood for its affordable price, accessibility, and access to neighborhoodand regional parks. Over the last 18 years, we have seen an increase in traffic, parking issues,
and loss of neighborhood character as we have been slowly surrounded by multi-story highdensity development.
Before the City rushes to upzone and push the Fowler Housing Project foward, we would ask
you all to take the long view.
The City should consider new development not only on its individual merits but also for itscumulative impact on traffic congestion, parking availability, and access to open space. A
holistic approach ensures that growth enhances livability rather than straining communityinfrastructure and quality of life. We have seen no such thought for this type of analysis and
there should be no rush to rezone without understanding these impacts and meaningfullyengaging community members impacted.
My family stands with the Harvest Creek HOA and welcome the opportunity to have dialogue
about how to build a better Bozeman that we all can gratefully call home.
