Dear City,
I am writing in connection with the Bozeman Hotel by Matt Paine with the PaineGroup.
I believe the patio in discussion would be a great benefit to the community, as the
access allowed is something most developers would not permit. There would alsobe ecological restorative benefits.
As for the hotel itself, the architectural design has many positives.
1. This is the first project in years that compliments Bozeman's historic legacy
while looking confidently towards the future.
2. The design is elegant and intentional.
3. Bozeman does not have a hotel like it. This design is refined, intimate and truly
urban.
4. Thoughtful use of materials.
5. The rooftop patio and creekside design give locals and tourists a reason to gather.
It's not just for visitors, it's for Bozeman.
6. This isn't just a hotel….I believe it will become iconic for Bozeman.
The hotel design is firmly rooted in place and time. This is precisely the sort ofproject we should all be supporting and proud to see it built.
