HomeMy WebLinkAbout1.1 - Introduction and Project ScheduleINTRODUCTION/PROJECT SCHEDULE INTRODUCTION The proposed Amended Plat of Lot 1, Block 1, The Parklands at Village Downtown Subdivision is an 8-lot major subdivision located on Lot 1, Block 1 of The Parklands at Village Downtown Subdivision, according to the plat thereof, on file and of record in the office of the Clerk and Recorder, Gallatin County, Montana. The property is located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 2 South, Range 6 East of P.M.M., Gallatin County, Montana. The subject property is located within the City of Bozeman with a zoning designation of R-4. The proposed subdivision creates 8 new lots within Lot 1, Block 1 of The Parklands Subdivision. The 8 new lots are proposed to contain one single-family dwelling on each lot plus one additional Residential Dwelling Unit (RDU) on at least six of the 8 lots. This will provide a total of at least 14 dwelling units to meet the R-4 minimum density requirements. PROJECT SCHEDULE Water, sewer, roads, and stormwater infrastructure to serve the proposed 8-lots was installed in 2020 with The Parklands infrastructure. Power, gas and communications lines necessary to serve the 8-lots are currently located within the utility easement that is located on the subject property.
