Please see attached letter -- Eli Anselmi Bozeman, MTMobile: +1.406.581.1503 Dear City Commissioners, A city flag should unite all residents of the city, not a specific social movement or individual agenda. The City of Bozeman already has a neutral and all including official flag. By looking to adopt the “pride flag”, the city is siding with a very small and specific minority simply for a social agenda that will create division and alienaƟon of the majority of the city ciƟzens, while aligning the city with a non-inclusive poliƟcal statement and seƫng a precedent for the future to adopt any and all flags, regardless of the poliƟcal message, as an official city flag. City officials should be looking to ways and proposals that create unity and neutrality instead of creaƟng division, fostering poliƟcal violence. The City Commission needs to remember that as elected officials in the city, their primary duty to their consƟtuents is to listen and find ways to make the city safer, make sure to provide the infrastructure needed and foster a posiƟve fiscal responsibility as to how the consƟtuents’ dollars are being spent, NOT geƫng involved in poliƟcal and social issues that create division. I encourage to the city commission to drop this issue and follow state law as it stands. Do your job and follow the law. Regards, Eli Anselmi
